Not only will the cloggers be 'showing off their skills', but you might like to have a go yourself! Clogging all weekend will be FREE so why not kick up your heels and try moving your toes across the floor with a 1 and 2 and 3 and 4!
What is Clogging?
Clogging can be described as a cross between Tap Dancing, Line Dancing and the occasional "River Dance". Cloggers wear soft leather shoes similar to a lace up tap shoes with taps that can only be described as noisy. Cloggers can usually be found dancing in lines with rhythms often sounding like those of Irish Dance. Individual styling is encouraged so all ages and all fitness levels can dance together.
Clogging has become so popular that it has spread throughout the USA as well as Canada, Europe, Australia and Japan. Even though clogging continues to evolve, the reasons for doing it will stay the same; for people of all ages to get together with other peopleĀ and have a great, fun, time dancing to wonderful music.
