Blue Hawk presents

The highlight of the festival, the Urban Country Main Concert is set to be bigger than ever. Come and celebrate our 5th birthday with country legend Lee Kernaghan. Lee will be joined on centre stage by Troy Cassar-Daley, Beccy Cole, The McClymonts, Travis Collins, Kirsty-Lee Akers and more. Jim Haynes will be MC for the evening.

Buying Tickets

Adult ticket: $64.90 incl. GST (1 January to 2 May)
Child ticket: $20.00 incl. GST (1 December to 2 May)

Tickets can be purchased online (opens in new window) or through Ticketek (opens in new window) on 13 2849. Tickets can also be purchased in person at:

  • Caboolture District Office of Moreton Bay Regional Council
  • Caboolture Sports Club
  • Club Caboolture
  • Norths Leagues Club at Kallangur (until COB Wednesday 30 April)

or will be available for purchase at the gate on the day of the concert. Postage and handling fees and surcharges may apply. There is no surcharge for tickets bought at the gate.

Note:

  • Tickets purchased online after midnight on Sunday, 20 April 2008 will not be posted to you. These tickets must be collected from Gate 8 after 10.00am on the day of the Main Concert.
  • Only the ticket purchaser is allowed to collect the tickets. Photo ID must be presented to collect tickets.
  • Tickets cannot be purchased via the website after midnight on Thursday, 1 May 2008.

Getting there

By car

There is no parking in the Showgrounds for the MAIN CONCERT on Saturday 3 May 2008.

Catch a FREE shuttle bus from either of the 2 FREE satellite parking sites:

  • Morayfield Shopping Centre, western car park - Morayfield Road, Morayfield.
  • Farm Fantastic Site - Bruce Highway (highway 1), Toorbul/Donnybrook Exit. This bus wil also stop at the Caboolture A1 Motel.

Note: Satellite parking does not operate on Friday 2 May, Sunday 4 May or Monday 5 May 2008. It is in operation for the Main Concert only.

Disabled Parking: Parking for vehicles clearly displaying disability permits will be provided via Gate 2 at the Showgrounds. All occupants of the vehicle will require pre-paid tickets.

By train

Catch the train to Caboolture Station on the main Brisbane to Nambour line (visit Queensland Rail (opens in new window) for train times). A free shuttle bus will take you from the station to the Main Concert and return.

By Bus

Free shuttle buses will operate from Caboolture CBD, train station and satellite parking to the Main Concert. Shuttle buses will also run from 7.00am taking you to key festival sites within the CBD area so you can enjoy the free events at the festival before going to the Main Concert.

By Taxi

Black & White Cabs - 131 008

Taxi set down and pick up for the Main Concert will be from Gate 7 (shuttle bus drop off area) until 7.00pm. After 7.00pm it will be from Gate 9 only.

By Chartered Coach

There is designated coach parking at the Main Concert. Access is via Gate A, Beerburrum Road, Caboolture.

Food and Beverage

There is a wide variety of hot food and beverages available at the Showgrounds. Patrons are able to take in their own food and water as per the restrictions below. Only persons over 18 years of age can purchase and/or consume alcohol. It is an offence to purchase alcohol for persons under the age of 18 years.

  • Pets (guide dogs allowed)

  • Chairs or blankets (placement in authorised areas only)

  • Eskies that can fit under your chair
  • Warm clothing or wet weather gear

Seating

There is no allocated seating. Patrons are able to bring chairs and blankets for placement in authorised areas to ensure unrestricted viewing for all.

Meeting the Artists, Buying CDs and Getting Autographs

A dedicated area is available where you can meet the artists, buy their CDs and merchandise and have these items autographed.

Program Change / Cancellation

The organisers reserve the right to change/cancel any part of the program. No refund of the ticket fee or part thereof will be made. This condition overrides any contrary provisions in any other relevant printed matter.

Pass Outs

For security reasons, pass outs from the venue will not be given.
