Local Lad Wins 2010 Toyota Star Maker
Local Margate artist Luke Austen was recently crowned the winner of the 2010 Toyota Star Maker Award at the prestigious Tamworth Country Music Festival. Luke was named the winner from 19 finalists and six grand finalists.
The talented singer, songwriter and guitarist is already well known in the country music industry being part of Troy Cassar-Daley's permanent touring band since 2004. In 2009 he released a 5 track EP No Stranger to the Rain.
You will be able to see Luke live at the festival as he takes to the stage at the Main Concert and Urban Blaze Concert . As an avid supporter of rising country talent, the festival is always excited to welcome Starmaker winners to Urban. This year we are extremely proud that Luke is from our own backyard and are certain his future is very bright. Congratulations Luke!

Bluegrass Brunch Comes to Urban
The Bluegrass Brunch will make its long awaited debut at this year's festival and is guaranteed to get even the most reluctant toes tapping. Settle in for a scrumptious Sunday brunch at Hasking Street Cafe and immerse yourself in the addictive sounds of the banjo, fiddle and mandolin.
